One World, Many Stories Photography Exhibit

In celebration of its summer reading program “One World, Many Stories,” Portsmouth Free Public Library is pleased to host a photography exhibit highlighting world travels.  The exhibit will run in the library’s Michael W. Mello Program Room from July 5 through August 20, 2011, with an opening reception on Tuesday, July 5 from 6 PM to 8 PM.  Entries should support the theme and be appropriate for viewing by both children and adults.  Both amateur and professional photography is welcomed.

 

Submissions will be accepted at the library on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 23 - 25, 2011, from 9 AM – 5 PM.  Photographs must be matted and framed and ready to hang.  Frames should be no smaller than 8” x 10” and no larger than 18 x 24”.  Entry forms may be picked up at the library and should include all applicable information.  All work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit and may be picked up at the library between Monday, August 22 and Friday, August 26, 2011.  For questions, contact Laura King at 683-9457.
