Parents' Group: What is a Student Assistance Counselor?

The Portsmouth Parents’ Group features a presentation and conversation with Andrea Hogan, Student
Assistance Counselor, Portsmouth High School.

Ms. Hogan will explain the role of a student assistance counselor and discuss other student and parent supports that are available to Portsmouth High students and families.

The Portsmouth Parents’ Group is a free, facilitated group open to all Portsmouth adult residents regardless of where their children attend school. The group meets every other Tuesday evening in the library at Portsmouth High during the school year. The group is facilitated by Ray Davis, Certified Prevention Specialist Supervisor and is sponsored
by the Portsmouth School Department.
