"Pasta and Politics" with Buddy Cianci at Portsmouth Free Public Library

Portsmouth Free Public Library is excited to welcome former Providence mayor, media personality and now best-selling author Buddy Cianci on Tuesday, November 29 at
7 PM to discuss his life in politics.  Mr. Cianci served as Mayor of Providence for 21 years and became its longest sitting mayor.  During his tenure, Providence was dramatically revitalized and became one of America’s top five urban centers.  Following Mr. Cianci’s presentation, there will be ample time for questions from the audience.  His book, “Politics and Pasta : How I Prosecuted Mobsters, Rebuilt a Dying City, Dined with Sinatra, Spent Five Years
in a Federally Funded Gated Community, and Lived to Tell the Tale” will be available for purchase and signing.
