The Portsmouth Democratic Town Committee's Annual Clamboil will be held on Sunday, September 13th. The event will be held on the grounds of the newly renovated Portsmouth Portuguese American Citizens Club on at 35 Power St., which is across East Main Rd. from St. Anthony's Church.
Open to the public, this event begins with an auction and all you can eat chowder and clam cakes at 1 p.m. Take advantage of great bargains and enjoy the fun during the auction, the music and mingle with friends. The traditional New England Clamboil will be served fresh at 3 p.m. Continuing a long tradition, members of thePortsmouth Democratic Women's Club will be on hand providing help to make this a fun and successful event.
Tickets for the day are $30 for adults, (tickets at the door may be limited), and $7 for children under 12 years of age. Tickets are available at the PA Club, Allen's Wine and Spirits, Ferreira's Package Store or by calling Chuck Levesque at 847-2510. Proceeds from the event go to the Portsmouth Democratic Town Committee.
