Perscription Drug Abuse Program
The Portsmouth Parents’ Group, a free, open meeting to all Portsmouth adult residents, will be holding a session on Tuesday May 15
from 7-8:30 PM at the Portsmouth High School library with Laura Hosley, Program Director for Rhode Island Student Assistance Services, and the National Volunter of the Year for the Community Anti Drug Coalition Association.
Ms. Hosley just returned from the first national
conference on prescription Drug Abuse in Sarasota, Florida and will share her
insights with those who attend. There will be a discussion, ideas for
prevention that parents can use in their homes and some general information on
the topic. Questions are always encouraged in these low key discussion presentations.

The Portsmouth Parents’ Group meets every other
Tuesday evening and discusses topics of interest to Portsmouth parents to help
support students making good decisions and live healthier lives and is free.
