Portsmouth Parents' Group First 2011-12 Meeting

The Portsmouth Parent’s Group, a free group for all adult Portsmouth residents, public & private school parents, offers a place to create information sharing with and among parents  about the issues they chose to explore in regards to supporting, and keeping their children safe as well as  helping them make good life  and school decisions.

The group offers new information from experts in a small friendly environment on topics that the parents choose, and the opportunity to have safe, frank discussions with other parents about common experiences in raising children in Portsmouth.

This group and will meet every other Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Library and is facilitated by Ray Davis, BS, CPSS, (certified substance abuse prevention specialist supervisor). The sessions are NOT clinical therapy groups but are confidential and informal and alternate between open discussions and then presentations on specific topics of interest chosen by the group members.
