
Restoration of Art and Architecture with Stephen RosascoÂ
Stephen Rosasco, proprietor of Rosasco Restorations, a local antique furniture and fine arts restoration company that has been in business for almost forty years, will present a lecture at the Portsmouth Public Library on Thursday, April 14th at 6:30 PM on the subject of historically significant restorations of art objects and architecture.
 The lecture will be accompanied by a slide presentation that will illustrate many of the techniques, philosophies and materials used in the field of fine arts preservation and restoration. The presentation will conclude with a question and answer period and a viewing of many recreated elements of works of art.

 Mr. Rosasco is a Newport trained, traditional furniture restorer and a museum trained conservator.  Mr. Rosasco has worked with many museums, universities and fine arts associations including the Preservation Society of Newport County.
