The Portsmouth Institute is a three-day conference being held for the third year at Portmouth Abbey School. The topic of this year's conference will be "The Catholic Shakespeare?" Internationally renowned writers, scholars and commentators will gather to celebrate and explore the life and writings of William Shakespeare. In addition to scholary presentations, the Institute will feature dramatic productions based on Shakespeare's plays by Theatre of the Word and other companies.  There will also be concerts featuring music associated with Shakespeare, including William Byrd's Mass for Five Voices.Â
