The Island Photography Group is pleased to announce its 5th annual exhibit in the Michael W. Mello Program Room at Portsmouth Free Public Library, 2658 East Main Road, Portsmouth. The exhibit will be open for viewing during library hours except when the room is being used for meetings from Thursday, September 1 through September 29. An opening reception is scheduled for September 8th from 5 to 7 PM. The public is welcome and refreshments will be served. Please call the library at 683-9457 for more information about the exhibit.
The Island Photography Group is an informal association and is open to photographers of all skill levels. There are currently over a dozen participants. We meet weekly for breakfast and share our pictures, exchange tips and advice, and have a good time. Then we select a location for an hour or two of picture taking. For more information about the Island Photography Group, contact Tony Stapleton via email at staplto@juno.com
