Tuesday Night at the Movies at Portsmouth Free Public Library

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

It's Tuesday Night at the Movies at Portsmouth Free Public Library, September 28 at 6:30 PM.  "The Shop around the Corner" stars James Stewart and Margaret Sullavan as two employees at a gift shop who can barely stand one another.  They manage to get through the day's work by fantasizing about their sensitive romantic soul mates whom they've never met in person.   Without realizing it, they are falling in love through the post as each other's anonymous pen pal.  The two stars make a delightful team as the clerks who fall in love through a lonely-hearts column in this black and white film from 1940.  Refreshments will be served.

This program is free and open to the public.  Seating is limited so please stop by or call the Library at 683-9457.
