The Portsmouth Parents’ Group will host an open discussion/presentation on What Is Counseling Really? Talk about what actually happens in counseling sessions, what are the privacy measures taken, what happens to records, what are the laws and ethics that govern the client/therapist relationships, insurance issues, who gets told what and who doesn’t etc. The guest presenters for the evening will be Lori Verderosa, MA, LCDP, who has a private practice in Middletown and John Feld, LCDP, who is the Senior Counselor at CODAC Behavioral Healthcare in Newport.
