What's for Lunch at the Senior Center?

SENIOR LUNCH PROGRAM

Portsmouth Multi-Purpose Senior Center, 110 Bristol Ferry Road, holds a lunch from Monday through Friday at noon, excluding holidays. The meals are open to anyone over 60 years. Meals are served at noon sharp. Suggested donation is $3. Call reservations to (401) 683-2223 by 11:30 a.m. the day before.

Monday, February 7

Vegetable Barley Soup, *Sloppy Joe, Butternut Noodles, Mixed Vegetables, Fresh Fruit, *Hamburger Roll. *Chicken Salad on Hamburger Roll 

Tuesday, February 8

Italian Wedding Soup, *Chicken Parmesan, Sliced Seasoned Potatoes, Normandy Blend Vegetables, Multi-Grain Bread, Peach Half. *Italian Grinder 

Wednesday, February 9

Lemonade, *Low Sodium Hot Dog with Condiments, Potato Log, 3-Bean Salad, Hot Dog Roll, Ice Cream Sandwich. *Hamburger on a Roll 

Thursday, February 10

Chicken and Rice Soup, *Pork Loin with Gravy and Applesauce, Stuffing, Buttered Sliced Carrots, Rye Bread, Lemon Pudding. *Egg Salad on Rye Bread 

Friday, February 11

Escarole and Bean Soup, *Shepherd’s Pie, Seasoned Spinach, Garlic Stick, Frosted Brownie, Wheat Bread. *Tuna on Wheat Bread 

All meals served with¹ 1% milk, coffee or tea
