Dozens gather Saturday at St. John's Lodge, AF&AM, annual clam bake.

St. John Lodge, 81 Sprague St., held its annual clambake fundraiser on Saturday afternoon on its Sprague Street grounds.

Dozens of families and friends turned out for the event under the white tent. Sunshine and warm temperatures made it the perfect weather for this outdoor gathering.

The event featured the winner of the  Newport Chowder Festival, who served up cups of the award-winning dish.
