Firefighters Battle Old Mill Lane Garage Fire, Classic Car Destroyed

Members of the Portsmouth Fire Department and Middletown Fire Department extinguished a garage fire on Old MIll Lane on Saturday.

Nobody was hurt in the fire and crews made a quick knockdown, containing the damage to the garage and what was inside, including a 1964 Chevy Nova.

It was a “good team effort with overhaul and extinguishment,” according to the Portsmouth Fire Department Fanpage on Facebook.
