Firefighters Extinguish Greenfield Avenue Fire

Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out in a garage on Greenfield Avenue Tuesday morning.

There are no reports of any injuries from the two-alarm blaze, which broke out shortly before 10 a.m.

Firefighters reported the garage at 25 Greenfield Ave. was showing significant fire upon arrival.

Crews from Tiverton, Bristol and Middletown provided mutual aid as crews worked to get control of the fire. It was under control by 9:59 a.m.

The fire is under investigation. More details will be posted as they become available.
