Flo's Manager Recalls Hurricane Bob's Destruction 20 Years Later [VIDEO]

Do you remember the damage left behind after Hurricane Bob? Flo's Manager Stephen Borden does.

Borden, manager of Flo's Clam Shack for the past 32 years, was the first one to arrive at Flo's following the Category 2 hurricane in 1991.

The storm caused expensive damage to the historic clam shack.

"It was a mess," Borden said.

Borden talks about the damage he saw first-hand back in 1991 in the video featured above.

Hurricane Bob, believed to be one of the costliest storms in New England history, first passed over Block Island and then made landfall in Newport on Aug. 19, 1991.

Coastal communities received the most damage from the storm with sustained winds between 75 to 100 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
