Free Tree Seedling Give-A-Way Happening In Portsmouth

The Portsmouth Tree Commission is holding its annual Seedling Give-a-Way on Saturday, April 22,from 9 to 11 a.m. (or until supplies last) in the south parking lot at the Portsmouth Town Hall!

The tree seedlings are free! The only request is that they be planted in the Town of Portsmouth.

The following tree species will be available: Scarlet Oak (60-80’ height and 40-50’ spread at maturity), American Redbud (20-30’ height and 25-35’ spread at maturity), White Dogwood (25’ height and 25’ spread at maturity), and Sugar Maple (60-75’ height and 40-50’ spread at maturity).
