Good Citizens Announced at Portsmouth
The middle school has named the Citizens of the Month for March.

PORTSMOUTH, RI—The list of Good Citizens is ready for publication, according to staff at Portsmouth Middle School. Grade 5 took to Twitter recently to claim classmates at the whole school qualify as the best students. But even though they're all great, a few youngsters will be named as the official Citizen of the Month recipients for March.
"School citizenship is measured by eight key values: integrity, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, love of country, civic duty, and work ethic," the staff said. "We believe that Portsmouth Middle School is a place where character counts and that school citizenship is an integral part of a student’s total educational experience. The attainment of these attributes is invaluable to our students' future development and our community."
