The first annual Vernon L. Gorton, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, October 24 at Green Valley Country Club, 371 Union Street, Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Proceeds will benefit Portsmouth High School Scholarships and Esophageal Cancer. A Shotgun start, Best Ball Tournament will tee off at 11:00 am, followed by a buffet at 5:00 pm and prize presentation. Raffles, silent and live auctions! Tickets are $100.00 per golfer, which includes buffet, or buffet only for $45.00. Hole sponsorships are available for $50.00. Cut off date is October 17.
