Just a little gardening tidbit. We all know how we hate dandelions. We rip them out all the time. However many times we say well I will do it tomorrow and when you go out they have gone to seed overnight, waiting for that nice breeze to send the seeds flying across your lawn. Also when pulling you always notice a few gone to seed and try as you might the seeds fly when you grab it.
Few weeks ago I thought there has to be a way to get them seeds without them coming off and going all over the place. Well think I found it and it worked very well. A darn dustbuster or one of the portable sharks cordless vacuum. Merely sneak up on the offending dandelion if it is in seed mode and suck the whole head in a few inches then pull back and all the seeds are gone. You can now pull the weed (make sure to get the root),

So on a nice day get yourself a nice cool drink and go vacuum your yard of dandelions ;-}.
