Checking to see if Portsmouth schools (public and private) are closed because of Hurricane Sandy?

You can follow all of the school and other closings on the RI Broadcasters Association Closures web page. [Click the link to visit the site.]

The page lists all public and private schools, as well as businesses and government agencies.

As of 5:42 p.m. Sunday, the following announcements were made:

Closed

Portsmouth schools

Pennfield School

Portsmouth Free Public Library

Open

Portsmouth Town Hall

RIBA also allows computer and smartphone users to sign up for email and text alerts on school closures.
