The results of the Portsmouth Water and Fire District annual election are in. The election comes just after the district announced that rates will be increasing by double digits.

TAX ASSESSOR - Three year term

Theodore T. Czech Votes - 64 Elected

Michael W. Nott Votes - 54 Elected

(Both are incumbents).

TAX COLLECTOR - Three year term

Frederick W. Faerber III Votes - 55 Elected (incumbent)

Write-In: Andrew Kelly Votes - 1

TREASURER – One year term

Allen J. Shers Votes - 63 Elected

Write-In: Norman Cote Votes - 1

Total Eligible Voters – 12,779

Percent Voting – 0.54%

Theodore T. Czech, Michael W. Nott, Frederick W. Faerber III and Allen J. Shers will be sworn in at the Board’s next regularly scheduled meeting on June 16, 2015 at 7:00 PM.
