Magnificent Masterworks!

Providence Singers presents Vivaldi, Bach & Mozart , November 7, 7:30 PM in Providence & November 8, 3 PM in Bristol

Join the Providence Singers on November 7 & 8 as we present selections from a trio of masterworks: Vivaldi’s grand and joyous Gloria featuring the famous Laudamus Te duet; Bach’s elegant intriguing cantata140 best known as Wachet Auf (Awake the voice is calling us); and the dramatic, majestic Coronation Mass, one of Mozart’s most important works. Featuring Elizabeth Kinder, soprano; Thea Lobo, alto; Greg Zavracky, tenor; Nicholas Laroche, bass.

There will be two performances: Saturday, November 7, 7:30 pm at the Cathedral of Saints Peter & Paul in Providence; and Sunday November 8, 3:00pm at St. Mary’s Church in Bristol. Tickets are available online at www.ProvidenceSingers.org or by phone (401-751-5700), $28 for general admission, $25 for seniors and $5 for students. Contact us for group discounts and tickets will also be available at the door.

Pre-concert: Michael Galib, respected conductor, singer and educator will present a pre-concert talk at each concert: 7:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at St. Mary’s in Bristol.

Post-concert: The Singers will host a reception immediately following each performance, all audience members are invited to meet and talk with Christine Noel, Michael Galib, and members of the chorus.
