Meet Portsmouth's New Superintendent

Ana Riley took the helm as Portsmouth’s new superintendent about a month ago and she’s still in the process of getting to know everyone who plays a role in the school district, from teacher and students to parents and town officials.

If you haven’t had the chance to meet Riley in person yet, Doug Smith, host of Portsmouth this Week, smartly invited the former superintendent in Dartmouth to the studio to sit down for an interview.

In it, she describes her experience during her first few weeks here in Portsmouth, her career path and what she loves about education. She also discusses some of the key issues facing the district this year and in years to come.

Also joining the discussion is School Committee Chairwoman Terri Cortvriend.
