New Art Exhibit to Offer 'Comfort' This Summer in Portsmouth
The Art League of Rhode Island will present the themed exhibition "Comfort Zone" from July 14 to Aug. 14.
The Art League of Rhode Island will present the themed exhibition “Comfort Zone" this July.
According to a press release from the Art League of Rhode Island, the exhibition challenges both its members and associate members to examine the concept of “the comfort zone," the state within which a person operates in an anxiety-neutral condition, using a familiar set of behaviors to operate successfully, usually without a sense of risk.
To step outside a person's comfort zone, they must experiment with new and different behaviors, and then experience the new responses that then occur within their environment.
