Newport Beach Club Owner Charged With Slapping Workers' Butts
Portsmouth Police said Tinsman also tried coercing several woman working at Newport Beach Club to drink during their shift and looked drunk.

PORTSMOUTH, RI — The new owner of the Newport Beach Club was charged with assault after police said he slapped the butts of several women working at the beach club and tried forcing them to drink alcohol.
On Sept. 3, a 21-year-old woman working at the beach club told police Patrick Alan Tinsman, 47, of Cape Elizabeth, Maine assaulted her, the Portsmouth Press reported. According to the victim, on Oct. 1, Tinsman slapped her butt before running off.
Portsmouth Police said Tinsman also tried coercing several woman working at Newport Beach Club to drink during their shift and that he looked highly intoxicated.

On Oct. 9, Tinsman turned himself into Second District Court in Newport after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Oct. 3. He was processed at the Portsmouth Police Station and has since been released.
