PORTSMOUTH, RI— On a drive by the Portsmouth United Methodist Church Wednesday, there were still plenty of choice pumpkins in the church yard on East Main Road.

"PUMPKINS ARE HERE - Our 7th annual Pumpkin Patch will start Sunday Oct. 9. The pumpkins arrived on the 8th.

Many hands make light work. The Patch is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Proceeds from this yearly fundraiser support our youth mission projects."
