Poetry Reading: David Dragone and Tom Chandler
Sunday, May 17, at 3:00 pm. David Dragone and Tom Chandler, Poet Laureate (Emeritus) of Rhode Island, will read from their respective works

Join us at the Redwood Library & Athenaeum on Sunday, May 17, at 3:00 pm for an afternoon of poetry. David Dragone, a member of the Ocean State Poets, will open with a reading of his work. Tom Chandler, Poet Laureate (Emeritus) of Rhode Island, will then read from his work.
David Dragone’s poetry has appeared repeatedly in the Bryant Literary Review, California Quarterly,Common Ground Review, the Providence Journal, and others. Some of his poetry has been broadcast on Rhode Island’s NPR radio affiliate and one of his poems was featured by Trinity Repertory Company in Providence.
Tom Chandler is Poet Laureate (emeritus) of Rhode Island. He has been named Phi Beta Kappa Poet at Brown University and has been a featured poet at the Library of Congress and the Robert Frost homestead. He is the author of six books of poetry and his work has been read by Garrison Keillor on National Public Radio on several occasions. His latest book of new & selected poems is Guitars of the Stars.
