Police Break Up Large College House Party

Police said it was the second time they've responded to the rental house on Blue Bill Way.

Portsmouth Police filed a report with Roger Williams University after they responded to a house party at a Blue Bill Way house for the second time this academic year.

Police said the house at 23 Blue Bill way was the scene of a large house party on Saturday night.

Police were dispatched to the house after a report of a loud party and the tenants, identified by police as Abbott Tucker Atterbury, 21; and Bradley S. Fagan, 21, were cooperative and cleared out the house promptly.

Police checked several party goers on their way out and nobody was under 21 and there “was also a large amount of designated drivers on scene to assist with driving party goers home,” according to a police report.

Police said they notified the tenants that the house was overcrowded and noted it was the second time they’ve responded to the address. Police took photographs of alcohol containers throughout the house and informed the residents that Roger Williams University would be informed.

The property owner is listed as Silver Moon LLC., according to town records, police said.
