Police Investigating Wave of House Break-ins
At least four daytime house breaks have been reported to police in the past two days.

Portsmouth police are investigating four house break-ins that occurred within the past two days.Â
Since Tuesday, approximately four house break-ins have been reported. The break-ins all occurred during daytime hours.Â
Break-ins have been reported at residences on Dexter Street, Harrington Avenue, East Main Road (north end) and Boyd's Lane.Â

The alleged thief or thieves entered a couple of the houses through unlocked doors, as well as removed window screens and forced entry in come cases.Â
Electronics, cash and jewelry have been reported stolen.Â
