Portsmouth High School Hockey Team Defeats Rogers 4-1 in Coastal Cup Tournament
The opening game of the Coastal Cup Tournament was held Monday night at the Portsmouth Abbey rink.

's hockey team defeated Rogers High School 4-1 Monday night in the opening of the Coastal Cup Tournament.Â
Rogers out shot Portsmouth 31-20, but Matt Maggiacomo made 30 saves to get the win. Chris Oliveira led scoring with 2 goals and 1 assist for Portsmouth.Â
Cam Hebert and Matt Harrigan also had goals. Myles Arkins and Nick Martens each had an assist to round off Portsmouth scoring.Â

Portsmouth looks forward to facing Mt. Hope, who beat Middletown in the other Coastal Cup game Monday night.
The finals will be held Monday, Jan. 2, at 7:30 p.m. Rogers will play Middletown in the consolation game at 6 p.m. Â
