Portsmouth High School Honors Its Top Seniors

Students, parents, staff and local dignitaries attended Portsmouth High School’s Senior Awards Night on Monday evening at the high school.

Senior sang the national anthem to begin the ceremony. 

Numerous scholarships and cash awards were then presented to graduating seniors. The benefactors included a wide rage of organization that included the Marine Corps, the Portsmouth Lions Club, the PHS Athletic Boosters and the Class of 1979 Memorial Scholarship.

After a short break and an update on the Boston Bruins game by Vice Principal Jeff Goss, the second half of the ceremony began. This included recognition of the individual seniors’ accomplishments by the academic and athletic departments.
