PORTSMOUTH LIONS RECYCLE FOR SIGHT

Community Service

Members of the Portsmouth Lions Club collected, sorted and boxed over 2,000 used eyeglasses for shipment to the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center. LERC volunteers clean, sort lenses by prescription strength, and package the eyeglass for distribution worldwide. Donate your gently used eyeglasses and change someone’s life. Drop-off boxes are located in many local optometrists offices, public libraries and senior centers. Portsmouth Lions have a recycled postal mail box (yellow and blue) located outside Clement’s Market. Thank You for your community support. Visit our website for membership and other information: www.portsmouthlc.org.
