Portsmouth Men Charged with Manufacturing Butane Hash Oil

Police seized drug manufacturing equipment, a .44 Magnum and arrested two men on Friday.

A month-long drug investigation culminated in the arrest of two Portsmouth men on charges of drug manufacturing on Friday, police said.

Timothy Banville, 29, of 112 Highland Ave., and Tyler Ottilige, 29, of 87 Tallman Ave., Portsmouth, allegedly were manufacturing butane hash oil, or butane honey oil, commonly referred to as DABS, said Portsmouth Det. Sgt. Michael Arnold.

Police executed two search warrants and seized cooking equipment, butane, compressors, scales and packaging equipment along with 11 ounces of marijuana, butane honey oil, DABS wax and a .44 Magnum revolver.

Both men are being held pending arraignment.
