Portsmouth Middle School Student Council Organizes Food Drive
The youngsters collected more than 1,000 non-perishable food items.
PORTSMOUTH, RI - From Portsmouth Middle School: Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth grade students on the Portsmouth Middle School Student Council organized their annual holiday food drive to support the Portsmouth families. Over 1000 non-perishable food items were donated by students throughout the school. Student Council members displayed posters they made and reminded students daily through the school’s morning announcements. Mr. Alan Shawn Feinstein will be donating $1000 to the Portsmouth Middle School in support of his Junior Scholars.
