Portsmouth Patch Announces Winner of Recycling Trash into Art Contest

And the winner is...drumroll...

Adam Carceller, age 12, has been named the winner of Portsmouth Patch's recent contest, in which kids were challenged to turn everday trash into art.

Portsmouth Patch asked kids to look around the house, find everyday recycling material, such as paper or cardboard, and turn those items into works of art.

Adam created and constructed a fish using bottle caps. To view Adam's artwork, see the pictures above.

For his hard work, Adam has won a $20 gift card to The Toy Shop in Bristol. Congratulations Adam!
