PD Chief Tom Lee discusses his first year on the job and other topics.
Our guest on Portsmouth this Week was Police Chief Tom Lee, who has just completed his first year in Portsmouth. Chief Lee discusses the public safety environment of our town and the challenges of maintaining an effective police force in times of austere budgets. We also discussed the community policing initiatives that he has put in place, including the Citizen’s Police Academy and the PD’s use of social media (Facebook) to keep the public informed. We covered a wide range of topics of interest to all Portsmouth residents.
