Portsmouth Police Selling Pink Patches For Breast Cancer Awareness
All proceeds will go to a local breast cancer charity.

PORTSMOUTH, RI — October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and Portsmouth police are joining first responders across the country and switching their usual police patches in for pink ones. Officers will be wearing the patches as well as selling them — it's all part of the Pink Patch Project.
The Pink Patch Project is a nationwide awareness campaign where police departments sell pink patches during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Portsmouth Police Department will be selling a limited edition police patch in pink. The patches are $10.
All proceeds will go to a local breast cancer charity.

Patches can be purchased at the Portsmouth Police Department at 2270 East Main Road.
