Portsmouth Public Education Foundation to Celebrate Its 10th Anniversary

The Portsmouth Public Education Foundation (PPEF) passes along this information about its 10th anniverary celebration, which will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, at in Portsmouth  

The public is invited to enjoy appetizers and a cash bar at the Fall Showcase and Social. You'll also be able to view exhibits of past Educational Excellence grant recipients and the current "Teacher of the Year." Exhibits from , and will be featured.

Many local businesses have offered their support to public education by donating to the silent auction. Offerings include six-day free dockage at Brewers Marinas, golf packages from Green Valley, Newport National and Montaup Country Clubs, season tickets to the Gulls plus a week of baseball camp, theater tickets, museum tickets, Portsmouth Holly Ball tickets and much more. 

A $10 special ticket, payable only online through PayPal, is offered for the 10-year anniversary event. Advance tickets may also be purchased for $15 per person or $25 per couple by contacting Marilyn Brockway, at 683-3021 or mlbrockway@cox.net, or Eileen LaCazette at ejtl@verizon.net. Tickets will be available the night of the event for $20 per ticket or $35 per couple.
