Portsmouth Resident Backs Into School Bus
A Portsmouth resident was backing out of his driveway on Canonchet Drive on Thursday morning when he hit a school bus parked in the road.
PORTSMOUTH, RI — A school bus was parked on Canonchet Drive and Potomac Road around 8:22 Thursday morning, while the First Student Bus driver was picking up a youngster. At the same time, a Canonchet Road resident was backing out of his driveway. He hit the bus. Four Portsmouth students were on board. The oldest was 17. None was injured in the mishap.
No charges were pressed in connection with the incident.
