Portsmouth Students Display Masterpieces at 3rd Annual Art and Music Festival
Portsmouth students displayed their best artwork at the third annual Art and Music Festival held Thursday evening at Portsmouth Middle School.
Students, parents, family and community members alike attended the third annual Art and Music Festival hosted by on Thursday, March 31.
The festival, which coincides with Youth Art Month, featured work from students of and , middle school and high school.Â
The show incorporated various aspects of student life beyond the art and music classrooms by displaying class projects and assignments that clearly took a lot of time, creativity and effort on behalf of both student and teacher.Â

The show also featured entertainment for the younger crowd and a station for decorating hats.

Also assisting with the event were Ritchie Price and Micheal Barcley DeTolley, the two music teachers who performed on the recorders with the fourth-graders, and librarian Carol Strakosch.
