Prudence Island: Water District Election Results

Phil Brooks, Anne Marie Lockwood and Chris Brown win seats on the board. Brooks and Lockwood are the incumbents. Brown was the top write-in.

PORTSMOUTH, RI — The Prudence Island Water District on Wednesday reported results from last Saturday's election. Turnout was 3.07 percent, with 22 out of 716 eligible voters casting ballots. The two incumbents, Phil Brooks and Ann Marie Lockwood, were re-elected. He had 19 votes. She had 14. Rick Brooks, Sr. had five write-in votes.

In the race for Clerk, no candidate declared and incumbent Martha Fuller decided not to stand for reelection. Chris Brown was the top write-in candidate. He collected 13 votes. Chris Blount and Frank Jurnak each collected one vote.
