Putting on the Dog at the Dog Park: Fundraiser Set for Oct. 30
The party's at the Greenvale Vineyards on Oct. 30, and the dogs get in free.
PORTSMOUTH, RI -- A doggie park needs a few frills, so on Sunday, Oct. 30, the Portsmouth Dog Park Committee will host its second annual fundraiser.
The “PupTail Party” will be at Greenvale Vineyards, 582 Wapping Road, from 3p.m. to 6 p.m.
Enjoy live music, a silent auction, wine, hors d’oeuvres, vineyard tours, dog contests and dog costume parade. Cost $35 per person or $60 a couple.

Dogs go in free, of course.

It's a chance to toast the newly complete Portsmouth Dog Park, while raising the money to make the new doggy digs comfortable. The shopping list includes water fountains, benches, picnic tables, bulletin board and trash receptacles.
