Raimondo Celebrates Governor's Bay Day

Governor Gina M. Raimondo celebrated the 28th Annual Governor's Bay Day on Sunday.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Governor Gina M. Raimondo, joined by First Gentleman Andy Moffit and Department of Environmental Management Director Janet Coit, celebrated the 28th Annual Governor's Bay Day on Sunday. The day included free parking at all Rhode Island state beaches, as well as fishing in Rhode Island's saltwaters without a fishing license. Raimondo visited Roger W. Wheeler State Beach in Narragansett to enjoy activities including a sand sculpture contest, arts and crafts, music, and environmental education.
