RIDOT's Bob Smith Our Guest On PTW
RIDOT's deputy Chief Engineer for Design, Bob Smith, discussed the Town Center Project and other DOT plans for Portsmouth.

A couple of weeks ago, RIDOT’s deputy Chief Engineer for Design, Bob Smith, updated the Portsmouth Town Council on the current status of the Town Center Project, which focuses on changing the character of East Main Road between Turnpike Avenue and Portsmouth Town Hall. This multi-million dollar project includes the installation of three traffic roundabouts, sidewalks and a raised median strip in the center of the road. Mr. Smith discussed this project and several other DOT projects in and around Portsmouth on Portsmouth this Week.
