Video: Energy-Star Modular Home Goes Up in Portsmouth Neighborhood

The entire three-bedroom, modular home was pieced together within two days at 55 King Phillip Drive.

If you blinked this week, you might just have missed the construction of the newest home to be built in Portsmouth.

An Energy Star-rated, Westchester home was pieced together on Wednesday and Thursday at 55 King Phillip Drive.

The modular home's parts were originally constructed in New York, but the pieces were shipped to Portsmouth and put together like a jigsaw puzzle at the site in Common Fence Point.

The custom-built modular home features three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen, granite countertops, hardwood floors, central heating and cooling, and a spacious backyard.

The house is located in Common Fence Point, a quaint marina neighborhood with nearby beaches, waterviews, shops and dining.
