VIDEO: Flo's Clam Shack Opens for Season!

It was busy business again for Friday as opened to serve up another season of seaside fare. 

People came from all around (there was one Maryland license plate in the parking lot) and nearby to taste the fish 'n' chips' special, clam cakes and, of course, "chowdah." 

Even Flo's fans Don Davis of Middletown and Frank Faria of Portsmouth made the local voyage, joking they had been living in tents since Flo's closed last season. 

"I just took down my tent," joked Davis. "We're going to Occupy Flo's next year." 

Davis has visited Flo's on opening day for more than 50 years. For Faria, it's been just a little shorter. 

"I've lived here 33 years. I've been here every opening day," he said. 

Flo's Clam Shack is open Friday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Bring cash! Only cash is the accepted form of payment.
