Video: Portsmouth Library Kicks Up Celtic Music and Dance to Celebrate Ireland

The Portsmouth Free Public Library held the family program "Celtic Music and Dancing" on Tuesday at the library.

The celebrated Ireland on Tuesday evening with the family program "Celtic Music and Dancing."

Celtic harpist and vocalist Mary King and Phil Edmonds played the tin whistle, button accordion, fiddle, harp and drum, bringing traditional Irish music to the library. 

The event, funded by the North Family Trust, also featured jokes, anecdotes and stories. King also taught several attendants how to dance an Irish jig.
