Viewfinder: Forget the Snow, Flower Businesses Bloom as Spring Arrives

We may not be springing into the season with all this snow, but take a trip around town and you are sure to see signs that spring is creeping in.

Despite the snow on the ground, spring has arrived on Aquidneck Island.

Prescott Farm, restored and maintained by the Newport Restoration Foundation, is a serene and beautiful place to while away a spring afternoon feeding the ducks and exploring the pathways.

Stop by in the approaching weeks and watch the burgeoning kitchen garden, thoughtfully designed and maintained by URI Master Gardener volunteers, come alive and begin to thrive.
