Watch the opening of the Portsmouth History Center on Portsmouth this Week
This week's edition of Portsmouth this Week features the opening ceremony of the Portsmouth History Center at the Portsmouth Public Library

The goal of the fundraising efforts for the 375th anniversary celebration of Portsmouth’s founding last year was to fund the numerous public events that were being conducted. Any funds left over at the end of the year were to be used to establish a History Center in our library for future researchers, focusing on the history of our town. This goal became a reality a few weeks ago, when the Portsmouth History Center was formally opened.
